@gatherer, yeah, if you're editing your save, there's some internal caching of certain resource amounts/rates/chances for things that might not be updated.

@JonK Demons show up in missions without their being rifts around. Especially in some of the main quest missions. Depending on difficulty, missing out on that bonus can certainly hurt in a few spots, yes.

FYI: Those aren't even the same item type. One's a grip for dual-blade daggers, which are the rogue AoE weapon, and the other's a grip for regular daggers, which are the non-AoE weapon.
